NEET PG 2013: Supreme Court verdict expected in March

The NEET PG case (T.C.(C)No.98/2012) has been postponed to February 20, leading to speculation that the Supreme Court would not release a verdict until March.
It is expected that the Supreme Court will take around three weeks to reach a verdict after hearing all the arguments.
The NEET PG case was listed as item number 8 on February 19, but was not discussed. It was expected that the case would go until 4 pm on Febuary 19.
It was learnt that the NEET PG case has been listed for item number 4 on February 20, 2013.  It is expected that the case will be heard before 4 pm.

The Candidates who have had attended the NEET PG 2013 and expecting the NEET PG 2013 Results to be released are looking forward to the Supreme Court Hearing , Decision Final Verdict regarding the NEET PG 2013. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test PG 2013 has been conducted for the purpose of admitting the merit and eligible candidates into the Post Graduate Medical Courses in the Various State and Private Medical Colleges and Universities ..
But Some State Governments and Private Universities have filed a petition against the NEET PG 2013 and disputing the Conduct of Single Common Entrance exam for Medical Courses ..  The NEET-PG for admissions to PG medical seats  was conducted over 10 days between November 23 and December 6 at 47 test centres across 33 cities.
Now the NEET PG 2013 Results have been delayed to be released.. As the Final Verdict of the Supreme Court is Given whether or not the STATE and PRIVATE Universities can conduct the Separate Entrance exams, the NEET PG 2013 Results would be declared..
Previously the Supreme Court Hearing was held on January 13, 15, 17, 18 2013 and also on January 23, 30, 31 of 2013.

PG-NEET 2013: Results delayed


The results of PG-NEET 2013 for MD, MS and post graduate diploma courses have been postponed.
The results were supposed to be declared on January 31, 2013. However, due to a judgement from the Supreme Court the results have got declared
In order to be eligible for admission to any postgraduate course in a particular academic year, a candidate has to obtain a percentile of 50 and above in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses’ held for the said academic year.
For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the minimum percentile will be 40.
Over 95,000 candidates registered for the PG medical entrance exam. The examination took place at 50 centres in 33 cities across country.
How to check results
The mark sheet-cum-result certificate for the NEET-PG examination can be downloaded from the websitewww.nbe.gov.in/neetpg once results are declared.

NEET PG Counsiling Update

Dated 30.01.2013 

1. The schedule for the counseling by on-line counseling for PG (Medical and Dental) 50% All India Quota seats will be hosted shortly. 

2. Counseling for All India Quota Counseling is likely to start from 20th February 2013, subject to the direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Case TC (C) 98/2012 by Christian Medical College Vallor and ors vs Union of India and ors, for seeking permission to hold separate entrance examinations by the Private / minority institutions and declaration of results.

NEET-PG 2013 was conducted from November 23rd, 2012 to December 6th, 2012 as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The NEET PG Results 2013 will be declared by 31th Jan 2013. All students will b able to check NEET PG 2013 results at official website at www.nbe.gov.in. When NEET PG Results will declare then I will update here.

Students who crack NEET PG will be eligible for admissions to various MD/MS/Diploma PG Diploma Courses under ambit of Post Graduate Medical Regulations notified by Medical Council of India with approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
